Over 2,000 New Jersey Transit active members including operators, clerical workers, mechanics and other maintenance workers, light rail, skilled project laborers, and field salary employees and retirees throughout New Jersey and Monroe County, Pennsylvania.

Meet The President

Veronica Cobb was elected the Local 819 President/Business Agent in 2020, and is the first black woman to serve in this role. She has worked for New Jersey Transit for over 25 years, and has a vast amount of knowledge and experiences to lead the union.
